Eighteen Healthcare IT Effectiveness Awards were presented in
recognition of excellence in health-and socialcare information
management by Dr Peter Homa, Chief Executive, St George’s Healthcare NHS
Trust.
"This year there were a large number of high quality entries. This
reflects the good work being done in healthcare computing in the UK. The
judges’ task was hard and the winners deserve their rewards.” Dr Glyn
Hayes, President, UK Council for Health Informatics Professions;
Chairman, Health Informatics Forum of the British Computer Society; and
President, Primary Health Care Group of the BCS and member of the HITEA
judging panel.

simulation.
