The BSc/MSci Biomedical Informatics degree reflects the computing revolution that continues to transform medical practice across the globe. The tripartite collaboration between St George's, Kingston University and Royal Holloway provides graduates with expertise in implementing new technologies, knowledge management, disease representation, data coding and bioinformatics. The academic team providing the infrastructure for this degree welcomes active engagement with the industries to which their graduates will eventually contribute as a member of the workforce.

There are currently over 70 students registered in years 1 and 2 of the degree, with a further intake of 60 planned for the 2008–9 session.
